US President Joe Biden confirmed that he represents the United States and its allies at the climate conference in Egypt.

"I thank my Egyptian counterpart for bringing world leaders here to combat climate change," the US president added.


Recognition of the "disaster":

The move to green energy is necessary to prevent an environmental catastrophe, according to Biden, who emphasized that "the last eight years have been a climatic disaster."

According to the US President, "the last eight years have been the warmest ever, and they have seen several floods and droughts."

The US President emphasized that "Africa is home to weak states that are suffering" in regards to that continent. the effects of climate change have been felt very strongly.

He said, "My government has an agenda to confront climate change inside and outside the United States. The climate crisis is about human security, economic, environmental, and national security, as well as the life of the planet."

The US President apologized for the country's decision to leave the Paris climate accord, pointing out that the inflation control act is the biggest in US history.

Congress "approved a law authorizing $370 billion to confront climate change," according to Biden.


Finances promised:

"The International Energy Agency verified that our investments will help expedite the transition to renewable energy, and we are keen to improve accountability for the risks of climate change," the US President said in a statement.

The green program "reflects a commitment to economic growth" and "we will satisfy our targets on emissions by 2030," he stated.

The US President declared that he will give $150 million to Africa's fight against climate change.

He declared, "We are investing more than $20 million to lower methane emissions.


Advisory from Biden

The US president stated that "following the turmoil in Ukraine, executing climate agreements has become even more vital."

He insisted that "no country should use energy as a weapon" and that "all countries must profit from the diversification of their economies."

"Commit to a 1.5 degree limit to win our war against climate change," the US president urged other nations.

A $500 million project to convert Egypt to clean energy was also revealed by Biden, who emphasized that "the proposal to convert Egypt to green energy is presented by the United States, the European Union, and the European Union."
